Which Blade Actually Fits Your Clipper
The cordless version of a famous clipper usually does not take the famous clipper’s blade. This page lists what each manufacturer actually publishes for the tools we rank, quoted word for word, with the page it came from.
How to read this page
Not every "fits" is the same claim, and a table that renders them identically is misleading by layout. Each row below says which kind of statement the maker made:
- Spec table, a “Fits Models” row naming model codes — the strongest of the three.
- A bullet naming the machine and its model code in prose. No “Fits Models” row on the page.
- No model and no code published. The product’s own name is the only fitment statement on the page.
Andis T-Outliner Cordless 74055

T-Outliner® Replacement Blade - Carbon Steel · ITEM NO. 04521
“Fits Models GTO, GTX, GO”
The T-Outliner blade most barbers can name, and the one a search for "T-Outliner replacement blade" returns first. Its page lists three corded models and does not mention ORL or the cordless trimmer anywhere.

Worth knowing. Andis publishes more than one fitment list for item 04521 across its own sites. The spec table on the US page reads "Fits Models GTO, GTX, GO"; other Andis pages for the same part name wider sets. None of the lists we found includes ORL, which is the only question that matters here.

GTX-EXO Cordless Gold Shallow Tooth Replacement Blade · ITEM NO. 74115

GTX Deep Tooth T-Outliner® Replacement Blade - Carbon Steel · ITEM NO. 04850
“Fits Models GTO, GTX, GO”
It has GTX in the name and our trimmer is the GTX-EXO, which is as close to a trap as a part number gets. GTX is a corded model; GTX-EXO is ORL-S. Neither ORL nor ORL-S appears anywhere on this blade’s page.

Andis Master Cordless #12660
Manufacturer model code: MLC
Master® Cordless Replacement Blade, Carbon Steel Size 000-1 · ITEM NO. 74040
“Fits Models MLC”
Basis: Spec table, a “Fits Models” row naming model codes — the strongest of the three.

No wrong-blade warning is listed here, because none was verified. The corded version of this tool takes a different blade and the same trap probably exists — "probably" is not what this page is for.

Worth knowing. Weaker than the Andis rows above, and the difference is worth knowing. Wahl names no model and no code for this blade: the only fitment statement on its page is the product name, and "C/C" there means cord/cordless. A Wahl regional site appears to publish a wider list for a related blade, but it returned HTTP 403 to us, so we have not read it and do not repeat it.

Scope, stated plainly
4 tools · 2 brands (Andis, Wahl) · 2 wrong-blade warnings
This covers the tools where a manufacturer publishes something specific enough to quote. Where a maker publishes nothing, or its own pages disagree, the row says so rather than picking the tidier answer. It is not a complete cross-brand chart and does not pretend to be.
Why there is no buy button on this page
Two of the parts named above are ones we deliberately do not sell, and monetising "do not buy this" is incoherent. The manufacturer pages are printed rather than linked for the same reason in reverse: they are shops, and this page is a reference.
